Last night Union coach Peter Nowak unleashed his first batch of acquisitions on the Philadelphia public during a meet & greet event at Center City pub Tir Na Nog. In addition to offering fans an opportunity to get acquainted with the likes of Stefan Miglioranzi, Brad Knighton, Alejandro Moreno and Andrew Jacobson the event was also a chance for attendees to support the Union and the Sons of Ben’s “Help Kick Hunger!” campaign.
Philly.com’s Jonathon Tannenwald was on hand at the event and was able to grab Sebastien Le Toux, Jordon Harvey and few other players to find out their initial impressions of the city and their goals for 2010. And of course the Sons of Ben were there as well –would it be a real Philly soccer event without them?– and have plenty of cool photos from the night in their Flickr pool.
