College Kids Spend March in Daytona, MLS Teams Spend it in South Carolina

The schedule  for 2010 Carolina Challenge Cup was announced today with current MLS Cup champions Real Salt Lake headlining the list of participating clubs who will play doubleheaders at Blackbaud Stadium March 13, 17, and 20. Also taking part in the annual pre-season tournament are D.C. United, Toronto FC and local boys & hosts Charleston Battery. For TFC and United, this will be their 4th and 5th visits to South Carolina respectively so neither will be strangers to the venue, the weather or the competition. And for Real Salt Lake  this will be an early chance to get their hands on another piece of hardware, no matter how modest, to keep their newly-acquired Philip F. Anshutz trophy company.
