Real Madrid Arrive in LA Ahead of U.S. Tour

Just as one soccer super-power leaves another arrives to fill the void it left behind. So with Manchester United having left the states for a trip down Mexico way Real Madrid is next in line to shine a bit of European glamor upon America’s summer of soccer. Cristiano Ronaldo & Co. arrived in Los Angeles on Wednesday and conducted their first practice at UCLA the following day. After training, the icon midfielder addressed the media and even commented on when he began to follow MLS. “When Abel Xavier played here I [began to] pay attention.”
